We have enjoyed exploring the topic of winter through our play based learning. We have been learning about how we can keep warm in winter and how animals keep warm in winter. We learnt how some animals hibernate in the cold winter months and some birds migrate to warmer climates for the winter. We made some bird seed cake to help feed the birds in winter.
We have been engaging in winter role play and creating winter artwork using digital media programmes on the computers and on the iPads. We have had fun extending our winter play based learning to include outdoor learning opportunities too. We hope you enjoy looking at our photos.
