We have enjoyed learning about toys from long ago this term when ‘Nanny’ from Mountstewart came to visit. We brought in our favourite toys for show and tell and painted a picture of them. We also explored ‘push’ and ‘pull’ forces through our play based learning and outdoor play. We were introduced to a ‘fair test’ when we carried out an investigation into how far a toy car travelled over various different ramp surfaces and discussed what happened when the height of the ramp was adjusted.
