Congratulations to Jack Glass and Charlie Tumilty for making it the to the Northern Ireland Finals of the Flahavans Primary School Cross Country League which took place at the Billy Neill pitches outside Comber.
Both boys ran really well in what could only be described as awful ground conditions. There were numerous long slow climbs on the course, and the ground ranged from frozen solid, sand on top of a tarmac track, with many very wet and mucky patches.
Jack was placed 37th and Charlie came in 53rd out of a very large and competitive field of 158 runners. They were both brilliant!
Well done boys! You have made us all very proud!
