Miss Doyle's Class thoroughly enjoyed the sunshine today during our outdoor learning time. We brought our reading books outside and sat in groups, taking turns to read and ask each other questions.
The children enjoyed practical learning, looking at distance by throwing beanbags to see who could throw the furthest. We also looked at length by measuring skipping ropes to identify which were the shortest and longest.
The children showed excellent listening skills and team work when creating 2d shapes with their body, getting into groups of 1-10 which focused on odd and even numbers.
Our balance and coordination skills have also been developed by using our fantastic wooden climbing frames.
We had a great time learning outdoors and the sunshine was an added bonus. ☀️
